I Have Never Played A Shin Megami Tensei Game Before

When I was but a babychild, having learned how to walk and work a knock-off tamagotchi with Littlest Pet-Shop branding, I was first allowed to play on the holy grail of the handheld console market at the time: the brick-esque Nintendo Dual-Screen. I don't remember SHIT about how that thing played but I DO remember playing Final Fantasy II/IV. Me n my sister would never make it past the first opening segments, going only so far as to have Cecil blow up Rydia's home town before resetting, so I could then rename him something like Cat100 and watch him do his stoic monologues with a name that sounds kinda like a shitty forum handle, made, appropriately, by a 4 year old.

This endless torture loop of letting Rydia have one more day with her mother before her entire town is destroyed, because "What if he had One More 0 In His Name wouldn't That be Funny," was kind of indicative of my ongoing problem with JRPGs: I have zero patience for them. Now, I'm not some fuckin pleb. I've basically beat a whole Dark Souls, I've played my fair share of Slow-Paced Art Games, put in plenty of hours trying to stick to RPGs (I'm practically done SLARPG, which was dope as hell, I've played Undertale and Deltarune as far as it's been released as of time of writing, and I've dumped over 50 hours into Persona 5, to name a few), but without some kind of out-there primary battle gimmick, I've never managed to make my way through a full RPG before.

A commonly used image of the main character of Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturn, shirtless and covered in glowing blue and black linear tattoos, staring out at the camera from what appears to be a hospital hallway. The edges of the screen are aflame, and glass hand railings behind the M C have been shattered. The Protag has a blank expression despite the ruinous surroundings.

However,

As you may have surmised, dear reader, from the beginner quality of my coding, and from the fact that this is a neocities page, I am quite poor. I live with my parents at the age of ☠︎□︎⧫︎ 💧︎♋︎⍓︎♓︎■︎♑︎, and I cannot exactly afford to just Waste Money on buying whatever new AAA game is coming out. Aside from the new Zelda, but I'm not proud of that. However. I may or may not have recently gotten my nipples pierced, which a) hurt like a MOTHERFUCKER like, OH MY GOD dude, I've never broken anything so it was literally the worst pain of my life, and b) cost me like two hundred dollars. So. I have given myself a mission: I'm not gonna buy anything other than necessary food n shit until I beat Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne.

I need a new pair of shoes. However, I have yet to beat Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne. I REALLY wanna get a tattoo this summer. However, I have yet to beat Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne. I would love to be able to keep my snack stash loaded so I can have a comfortable amount of food to eat, because normally I Don't Have That, and continued stomach issues make it so I almost always want to vomit, unless what I eat will have junk in it, or if I'm Incredibly Hungry. However. I have yet to beat Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne. I would love to own more skirts so that I can be more comfortable in my tranny skin. However. Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne.

More to come.
